Abhinetri is an Indian 2016 Indian musical gothic horror comedy film co-written and directed by A. L. Vijay. It features Prabhu Deva and Tamannaah in lead roles while Sonu Sood, Murali Sharma and RJ Balaji in supporting roles. It was simultaneously shot in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi as Devi, Abhinetri and Tutak Tutak Tutiya respectively. All the three versions were released worldwide on 7 October 2016. Despite the simulanteously shot Hindi version, the Telugu version (Abhinetri) was also dubbed into Hindi as Abhinetri No.1 by Goldmines Telefilms and released on YouTube on 16 March 2018 with Prabhu Deva's voice dubbed by Chetanya Adib and Sonu Sood's voice dubbed by Manoj Pandey.

Krishna Kumar (Prabhu Deva) is a happy go lucky Tamilian who works in Mumbai. He spends his time searching for his dream girl. He wants his life partner to be educated and have supermodel looks. He doesn't want a country girl for a wife. His grandmother is on her deathbed and his father wants him to get married. His father with the aid of his grandmother chooses a girl from their village. He tries many times to stop the marriage but nothing works. He gets married to the girl, Devi (Tamannaah) unwillingly. He tries to get rid of her and shifts to a new house to hide her from his friends.
